That is why although we have free air tickets we not going on holidays Crying or Very sad
Coz we really blow our cash if we travel

I really cannot imagine being in a situation where you end up paying debts until well into 50s. But....if I end up have kids then that looks like a possibility Confused

I've been planning that ... but property prices' shooting up everywhere across canada ... Confused

and I think buying an HDB flat in singapore as an investment is silly, more so if you're not going to stay in it ....

so I'll probably split my savings between something high risk and something that gives fixed returns ....

mean time ... I think I'll continue driving this old wreck till it gives up on me ... even though cars are more than 50% cheaper here it's still money into a black hole ....

Well looking at our current finances with investments and what not, having a kid will wipe out our retirement funds

Just 1 kid
I'm not even talking about 2

It's estimated that having a kid will set you back by at least 400k

Of course ppl say kids are happiness, don't count the $$ but reading those sad story reports I really don't want to be caught in that situation

Best part is they use this card to pay for that etc and than spend more on another card

I don't think kids are that expensive ... unless you're planning on bringing the poor chap up as a pressure cooker kid ...

$700 montissori pre-schools, $500 british council lessons, etc ... all those are not neccessary I think ...

Current debts... HDB flat... but 3 room lah.. and its all CPF anyway..

just got a VAN! very happy new opel combo.. air blue colour toooo so in debt for a while.. hopefully in 3 years we clear.... :O

its the cost of tertiary education, esp if overseas.

but can make the kids take a loan or try to get scholarship I suppose Twisted Evil
